6k is the average distance a person in a developing country must walk to access water. Oftentimes this water isn't even clean and makes them sick. We can make this personal by walking the same distance with our race bib on-knowing that this child(pictured on our bib)no longer has to make this walk for survival.More registrants=more children receiving clean water!
